An easy paleo-friendly dessert that would be fantastic served with paleo "ice cream".
Adapted from Making it Paleo, serves two
Ingredients
2 Granny smith apples
1/4 cup almond flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1/2 cup raisins
2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Cut the top off the apples and remove the core.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, syrup and butter. Mix until well combined. Stir in the raisins and walnuts. Stuff the mixture into the centre of the apples.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
